Replogle REP-B105 Biscuit Resonator Cone - 10 1/2

The Replogle Reso 10 1/2 Series biscuit-bridge style cone is hand-spun in California to exacting specifications and high tolerances using a special hardened aluminum alloy for maximum strength, tone, projection, and sustain. This OEM replacement cone is designed for Dobros manufactured since the late 1960's and throughout the Gibson years. The larger biscuit-style cone diameter delivers more mid-range and a wider tone.

Until recently, Replogle cones have only been available directly to custom builders and manufacturers. Now, these "Original Equipment" (OEM) cones are available directly to individual players and builders around the world. The "10 ½ Series" biscuit resonator cone measures an actual 10.375″ net cone diameter.

The History: Mike Replogle learned the art of hand-spinning resonators directly from "the Old Man", an old-school metal spinner who immigrated to the US and was the spinner-behind-the-scenes for nearly every resonator since the 1960's. Replogle studied, practiced, and perfected his hand-spinning technique under the direct tutelage of the Old Man in his retirement, preserving the legacy of the authentic Dobro cones for future generations.
